Fashion and design fans will want to head to the Petit Palais for the first ever retrospective look at the work of famous French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

This special fashion exhibition features 307 haute couture and ready-to-wear outfits that date from the beginning of the couturier at Dior in 1958, with the famous collection "Trapeze," until the splendor of the evening dresses of 2002.

During the his 40 years career this famous French fashion designer revolutionized the female wardrobe by introducing the pantsuit and the Sahara. Learn more about the construction style and the foundations of his work from a collection of old photographs and movies.
